Reebok is closing out its “Courting Greatness” campaign with a new rendition of the Question Mid.

Dubbed the “Class of ’16,” the sneaker pays tribute to Allen Iverson’s Hall of Fame induction and Philadelphia, the place he calls home and where he spent the majority of his career. The sneaker draws on a five-color palette, representing Iverson’s teams of the past. The clean white construction is met by shades of red and blue, interrupted by black from heel to toe. The outsole stands colorblocked by blue, yellow, red, and light green. This is the penultimate Question Mid release of 2021, followed by the “Pink Toe” iteration.

Coinciding with the Question Mid launch, Reebok has also released a short film in partnership with After-School All-Stars (ASAS). The program aims to provide free after-school services to Philadelphia’s youth. The film follows local young ballers throughout makeshift courts throughout the city. Exploring the question, “Do I have what it takes?” the film follows Iverson’s journey, as mirrored through the hometown hoops in the neighborhood.

The ASAS partnership pushes Reebok’s BOKS initiative which gives free physical activity guidance across all ages and abilities. The sports brand has also donated over 400 custom ASAS x Reebok hoodies to the students and staff of the ASAS Philadelphia chapter.

Using film as a medium, Reebok’s initiatives continue to provide messaging for celebrating the next generation of basketball athletes. The “Courting Greatness” campaign film aims to inspire young ballers to create playable basketball spaces where they may not exist. The campaign’s digital AR tool enable players to map out their own basketball courts on any surface.

The Reebok Question Mid “Class of ’16” will drop November 26th via Foot Locker, Champs Sports, and EastBay. It will be available in adult and kids unisex sizing.
