Reebok Completes the Heroic “Legion of Fury” Collection

Reebok is set to complete their “Legion of Fury” collection, comprised of five different Instapump Fury models that correspond to crime-fighting elemental superhero characters.

Each colorway in the collection is represented in an off-the-wall promo video that showcases each model’s hero: the orange, yellow, and green flame Instapump is represented by J.P. Blaze, the lightning-covered model evokes the stormy powers of Ayanna Air, the bubbly blue model represents Rayne Sheetz, the dark grey/black shoe showcases the stone-cold powers of Rock C. Rush, and the cloudy grey model corresponds to the flying Wynn D. Skies.

Each shoe features a patterned Pump bladder and matching Hexalite midsoles, toebox accents, and heel panels. Two of the models also feature text near the Pump button warning “EXCESSIVE HEAT INDEX! PUMP TO COOL.” Each colorway’s corresponding hero character is seen printed on both the Instapump’s heel and insole, almost reminiscent of Nike’s React Presto characters seen around the model’s debut years ago.

While the first two colorways in the collection dropped last month, the last three Legion of Fury heroes are set to make their landing on October 20th. Blaze and Ayanna Air colorways are available now via Reebok’s website, and the three upcoming models can be previewed alongside them.

Reebok recently released a mammoth Minions: Rise of Gru collection featuring two renditions of the Instapump Fury, proving once again that the model’s timeless, unique, and tongue-in-cheek appeal isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
