At just 15 years old, Rayssa Leal has accomplished more than the average adult. The Brazilian skater first gained worldwide recognition in 2015 when a clip of her nailing a heelflip off a 3-step while wearing a fairy costume went viral online. She was only 7 at the time. This earned her the nickname “A Fadinha do Skate” (The Little Fairy of Skateboarding). She has seen great success as a pro skater since then, with the biggest accolade being winning silver at the 2020 Olympic Games at the age of 13.

Leal is now reuniting with Nike SB to release her own Dunk Low collaboration. This marks Rayssa’s second shoe with Nike, following up her Verona Slip collab from 2022. This sophomore project features a white leather upper with tan suede overlays featuring a lasered design depicting sets of stairs. The leather Swooshes come in mismatched purple and royal, while Rayssa’s logo of an R with fairy wings is embroidered on the lateral heels. A =] smiley face logo is also heavily featured throughout the design, found debossed on the quarter panels, printed on the insoles and backs of the tongues, and on the set of three lace jewels. Additional features include “Rayssa’s Dunk” on the tongues, a white midsole, and a bright gum rubber outsole.
