The PUMA Mostro continues to evolve in 2025, returning with a bold new face. PUMA has tapped model and trendsetter Amelia Gray to lead the latest campaign for its rebellious silhouette.
First launched in 1999, the PUMA Mostro was named after the Italian word for “monster.” The Mostro originally debuted with a low-profile silhouette, spiked outsole, and a strap closure inspired by track and surf footwear. 25 years later, these same design elements remain key features in current releases.
Amelia Gray, known for her fearless fashion and ability to ride the line between trend and edge, was a natural fit for the Mostro. In this new campaign, she brings the shoe to life in a series of striking visuals that capture moments of raw energy, intimacy, and movement, exactly what the Mostro was made for.
“I love that the Mostro is comfy, cool, and just really easy to wear. It looks great with everything and instantly pulls the whole look together,” says Amelia Gray. “It has that perfect mix of retro and modern that makes any outfit feel more elevated.”
Following collaborations and special edition releases, the PUMA Mostro now arrives in “Pelé Yellow.” Named after the legendary Brazilian footballer and lifelong PUMA athlete, the colorway channels a legacy of global sport through the lens of streetwear. The vibrant yellow pulled from Brazil’s soccer jerseys pairs seamlessly with the silhouette’s bold structure.
The PUMA Mostro “Pelé Yellow” will be available on PUMA.com, at PUMA flagship locations, and through select global retailers on June 5th. Check out the campaign below.
