Original Story (11/15/21): Australian skate shop Pass~Port has teamed up with Nike SB to create their very own Dunk High.
This Dunk High features a workwear aesthetic with design details pulled from work boots such as D-ring eyestays and thick rope laces. The upper is constructed from golden brown nylon with forest green suede overlays and a brown tumbled leather Swoosh. A man holding a Swoosh-shaped shovel is embroidered on the lateral heel in gold. This is a reference to the Australian gold rushes and the “Digger Man” graphic Pass~Port created for Josh Pall’s pro board that has since transformed into the shop’s main logo. Matching gold embroidery branding is found on the tongues. Another one of Pass~Port’s graphics, the holding hand “Inter Solid” motif, decorate the pull tabs and the heels and tongues. Rounding out the design is black midsole and a multicolored earthy outsole that mimics the look of dirt and mud.
