Papergirl Paris Celebrates Launch with BEAMS, Needles, and ASICS

Paperboy Paris is celebrating the official launch of its sister brand, Papergirl Paris, with a massive quadruple collab. The cafe-turned-brand has linked up with three Japanese brands — BEAMS, Needles, and ASICS — to create a special colorway of the GT-2160, as well as a full apparel collection.

While Paperboy first originated as a hip cafe and brunch spot, the restaurant has grown to become a full-fledged streetwear brand as well, even dropping collabs with the likes of Reebok and New Balance. Its sister brand, Papergirl, was first teased in early 2023 with the release of a F&F Clarks Wallabee collab, limited to 50 pairs. Now a year later, Papergirl is ready to officially launch to the public.

Papergirl’s first offering to the public will be the ASICS GT-2160, coming in white mesh with metallic silver overlays adorned with a polka dot pattern. This polka dot pattern is signature to Papergirl and matches the pattern found on the Papergirl logo’s shirt. Papergirl branding is found near the toe box, while BEAMS branding appears on the heels. BEAMS, ASICS, and Papergirl branding also appear on the polka dot insoles. These come with light pink and white lace options.

The accompanying apparel is highlighted by a special version of Needles’ signature tracksuit, offered in metallic silver with pink and white stripes running down the side. Papergirl branding is embroidered on the chest underneath the Needles papillon logo.

Other pieces in the collection include heather grey shorts and hoodies, as well as a white tee with a graphic on the chest of Papergirl wearing ASICS sneakers.

The Papergirl Paris x ASICS x BEAMS x Needles collection launches at BEAMS Tokyo on January 13th, followed by a release at Paperboy Paris on January 19th to coincide with Paris Fashion Week. Check out the lookbook photos below.
