Following the conclusion of its Spring 2022 collection, Palace is now gearing up for the launch of its Summer 2022 offerings. This season features a wide assortment of apparel, as well as a footwear collaboration with East Coast boat shoe maker Sperry.
After Paul Sperry slipped off his boat in 1935, he began his trek to create a specialized boat shoe, leading to the creation of the Sperry Top-Sider. Birthed by serendipity and reaching peak popularity in the late 2000s, the Sperry brand is now being introduced to a streetwear audience, expanding its reach beyond sailors and ivy leaguers.
The Palace x Sperry collab is set to launch in indigo and white denim colorways. The two offerings of the Cloud Authentic Original 3-Eye Boat Shoe are adorned with an all-over print featuring “Palace” text in Olde English typeface that contrasts the denim upper. Keeping the technical details intact, the shoes come equipped with non-slip soles and leather laces.
In addition, the Palace Summer 2022 apparel consists of a diverse range of outerwear, sweaters, jerseys, polos, long sleeves, pants, and more. The collection is flooded with unique all-over print patterns, Palace-branded patches, and graphics. Meanwhile, the marine theme from the Sperrys boat shoe continues on the apparel with a jacket adorned with naval aviation wings paired with Palace branding. The capsule also includes jersey-inspired tees that nod to American sports teams, including the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Lakers. Rounding out the collection are accessories including a hat embellished with rivets, an assortment of bucket hats, branded visors, and even a custom Rubix Cube.
