Palace Skateboards are slowly becoming the masters of the unexpected collab. While last week saw the release of three colorways of a Palace x Salomon shoe, this week will see Looney Tunes characters adorning Palace brand denim, a chambray shirt, a tee, and a hat.
The capsule showcases scenes of a mallet-wielding Tweety Bird chasing Sylvester the cat across each garment. The characters are seen on both the fronts and backs of each piece, with the jeans featuring them on both the shin and back pockets, the chambray shirt showcasing them on the breast, hem, and back, and the hat incorporating wrap-around embroidery of the two. The resulting look is a playful, classic, and relaxed-fit slice of vintage American culture that would be instantly at home in any thrift or skate-centered wardrobe.
The Looney Tunes x Palace Skateboards collection releases alongside the rest of the brand’s Fall 2020 range releases on September 4th at 10 AM Central time via the brand’s official webstore. The collection will also drop in Japan on September 5th at 11 AM JST via Palace Japan.
