If you’re a fan of hip-hop of the late ’90s and early ’00s, you are more than likely familiar with Pen & Pixel. The design studio founded by brothers Aaron and Shawn Brauch
in 1992 in Houston, Texas is responsible for the cover art of some of the era’s most iconic rap albums, including releases from No Limit and Cash Money Records. Drake and the OVO team are now teaming up with Pen & Pixel on a collection for Spring/Summer 2022.
Pen & Pixel adds its distinct blinged-out style to the OVO owl logo, found on a selection of graphic tees in various colorways. The collection also includes a crewneck with the OVO motto “Same City Same Friends” (a lyrics from Drake’s “Connect”) at the bottom of the design. This design is also used on the Pen & Pixel x OVO jigsaw puzzle, comprised of 200 pieces.
The OVO x Pen & Pixel SS22 collection releases this Friday, May 20th at OVO stores and on the OVO website. Preview the collection below.
