The North Face & Online Ceramics Team Up For Earth Day

The North Face and LA-based Online Ceramics are celebrating Earth Day with the reveal of their upcoming collaboration. The two are dropping a collection inspired by ’70s California climb culture, featuring designs that celebrate the planet in Online Ceramics’ signature playful style.

“We’ve always aimed to create apparel with positive messages that encourage people to shift their way of thinking. Collaborating with an iconic brand like The North Face has allowed us to fuse our unique, thought-provoking designs with the styles The North Face is known for, creating retro-inspired gear that celebrates Earth everyday.” – Elijah Funk and Alix Ross, founders of Online Ceramics.

The North Face is introducing its new Re-Grind platform as part of this collaboration. Through this initiative, scraps from factory floors are repurposed into new, wearable gear. Apparel pieces in the collection are marked with TNF’s “Exploration Without Comprise” badge, indicating that they are made with at least 75% recycled, regenerative, and/or responsibly-sourced renewable materials by weight. The North Face aims to convert 100% of its top materials for apparel to recycled, regenerative or renewable by 2025.

Styles in the collection include outerwear such as the 1986 Mountain Jacket and Utility Field Vest, basics such as hoodies and tees, and accessories such as the Borealis Backpack and Eco Trail Sleeping Bag. There’s also a Traction Mule, adding a footwear component to the collaboration.

The North Face x Online Ceramics collection launches on April 29th at select The North Face stores, online at, and at select stockists. Check out the lookbook photos and product shots below.
