The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Release Date is March 15th, 2014. You wouldn’t believe it if we told you but did You know that the Air Jordan 1 sat on shelves for $20 back in the 80’s? The sneaker that kicked off the Air Jordan 1 legacy could be found on shelves across the U.S for a steal, which is why skateboarders were able to afford them back in the day. Now, Nike SB and Jordan Brand pay homage by putting both elements together thanks to multimedia artist Craig Stecyk – who brought his signature tribal visual identity to the design. Taking cues from Northwest Passage, his art installation that prominently features bronze casting and spray paint. The green-and black-upper features “AJ One SB” tonally scribed in a typeface designed by Stecyk that was originally featured in a leading skateboarding magazine in 1982. The same inscription also shows up on the Nike SB x AJI insole. Look out for these on March 15th at Skateshops across the U.S
