Nike SB will reportedly be releasing a Dunk Low OG “Sequoia” as part of its Spring 2025 lineup. Like the “Parachute Beige” colorway, this release will pay tribute to the Dunk Low Pro B era.
This “Sequoia” SB Dunk Low features a dark olive green hue across the entirety of its suede upper. A celadon green hue is then applied to sockliner, ankle collar, and midsole. White leather heel panels and gum rubber outsoles round out the design.
So how is this a Pro B tribute? Well, for one, it uses the SB Dunk Low OG model instead of the Dunk Low Pro that is more commonly used today. Features on the Dunk Low OG include the original Dunk Low one-piece outsole (no Phylon midsole), no heel pods on the sock liner, and no extra lace protectors at the bottom eyelets.
However, the use of the SB Dunk Low OG model alone doesn’t make this shoe a Pro B tribute, as many SB Dunk Lows have used the OG model in recent years (like the Orange Lobsters, HUFs, and Futuras).
Just like the “Parachute Beige” colorway, the color blocking and materials on this “Sequoia” pair are similar to the “Putty” Pro B Dunk Low from 1999. Also, the SB branding on the tongue tags is white, designed to blend in with the tongue tag itself. This makes it look like they are branded Nike instead of Nike SB, just like how the Pro B Dunks didn’t have SB branding. This is because they came out before Nike’s skateboarding division was officially formed in 2002.
The Nike SB Dunk Low OG “Sequoia” is slated to arrive in Spring 2025 at local skate shops. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
