The theme for Nike SB Dunks in 2024 is Paris, in honor of the host city of this year’s Summer Olympics. So far, we’ve seen colorways like the “City of Love” and “City of Style” hit the market, and next up is the Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Dreams.”
The “City of Dreams” SB Dunk Low is inspired by the Jardins du Trocadéro, aka the Trocadero Gardens, the open space located across the bridge from the Eiffel Tower. This spot is where Paris’ skating culture was born back in the 1970s, immortalized in the 1978 film Trocadéro Bleu Citron.
The shoe features a mix of suedes in neutral, clay-like hues, inspired by the architecture and walkways in and around the Jardins du Trocadéro. Uppers feature a satin-like finish, giving a subtle marbling effect. Additional features include a double-layered Swoosh, debossed Nike branding on the heel panels, and marbling on the tongue tags, insoles, and outsoles.
Other SB Dunk Lows in this “Road to Paris” collection set to release in 2024 include the “City of Theatre” and the escargot-inspired colorway (possibly named “City of Eats” or “City of Cuisine”).
The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Dreams” is now arriving at local skate shops. Check out photos below.
