Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Style” Pays Homage to Paris

0

As we approach the 2024 Summer Olympics, Nike SB will be releasing special kicks inspired by the games’ host city of Paris. The first of such releases is the “City of Love” pack, two pairs of Dunks dropping in February for Valentine’s Day. Following this will be the “City of Style” Dunk Low.

You may have seen these being called the “Pastoral Print” Dunk Low around the internet, though the official name is “City of Style” according to trusted Nike SB source @nikesbornothing. The uppers are covered in a custom “Toile de Jouy” print, a type of decorating pattern originating in Paris that is often used on dresses, curtains, upholstery, and wallpaper. Upon close inspection of this print, we see graphics of trees, clouds, a rail car with “SB” graffiti, and a sphere-shaped building that possibly nods to La GĂ©ode located in Paris’ Parc de la Villette. The textile used for the toile on these Dunks can be torn away with repeated wear to reveal a red suede layer underneath.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Style” is expected to release in April on SNKRS and at local skate shops. These are part of a pack that also includes a Janoski and Pogo Plus. Check out the official images below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
