Nike and MLB are kicking off their second year as partners with the Nike MLB City Connect Series. Each release aims to highlight and showcase the pride of fans for each celebrated city and their respective baseball team.

The game of baseball proves to be as timeless now as its humble beginnings. This collection pairs each team with jerseys that mesh old traditions with modern visuals. Seven clubs will be exhibited, including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins and San Francisco Giants.

The debut begins with the Boston Red Sox City Series jersey. It draws inspiration from Patriots’ Day, a holiday that marks tradition for Boston’s champions. The jersey itself honors the city’s drive, grit and resilience through creative direction. It comes in a bright yellow shade with “Boston” scripted across the chest. The left sleeve is adorned with a racing bib patch (a nod to the Boston Maraton) with Fenway Park’s area code of “617.” A blank space on the jock tag allows wearers to add a customized message.

The MLB and Nike partnership emphasizes the passion of athletes with that of sports lovers, providing each with the gear they need to show their pride. The Nike MLB City Connect Series will release now until August, lining up with important occasions in each city. In future seasons, the City Connect Series will appear league-wide.

Miami Marlins May 21
Chicago White Sox June 5
Chicago Cubs June 12
Arizona Diamondbacks June 18
San Francisco Giants July 9
Los Angeles Dodgers Late August

After being unveiled, the Nike MLB City Series fan gear will be available at retail and includes authentic and replica jerseys, hoodies, and tees for men and women. As for the Boston Red Sox gear, it will release April 6th on SNKRS, the Nike App and webstore, the MLB webstore and flagship in NYC and select retailers.
