Original Story (05/07/20): The Christmas-themed Kobe 6 “Grinch” released in 2010 and has gone down as one of the most popular Nike Kobe releases of all-time, with pairs currently going for well over a grand on StockX. The beloved colorway is now reported to be making its return as a Protro.
This bright Volt colorway was debuted by Kobe Bryant on Christmas Day in 2010 in the highly-anticipated match-up between Kobe Bryant and the “Big Three” Miami Heat. The Protro is expected to look exactly like the 2010 release, with its green and volt upper, black Swoosh, and crimson tongue logo. As this is a Protro, this release will introduce modern tech upgrades to the classic Kobe 6.
