Equipped with Flywire technology which looks to be a standard for most Nike models these days, the Trainer also features a Free outsole and multidirectional DiamondFLX grooves to give the winter shoe a barefoot-like feel. The minimalist approach is complemented by utilitarian features such as a water-repelling mesh upper and Tech-Tuff leather in the toebox for added protection, so you won’t have to sacrifice flexibility for durability.
