LASCO and John Geiger have teamed up to recreate the Air Yeezy 2 one last time, this time in a beautiful gold colorway. Named the “Golden Child”, this handmade custom is limited to 62 pairs and will release August 13th. Previously, LASCO paid homage to the Air Yeezy with a “Veg October” colorway that impressed many with its incredible quality and meticulous design.
This time, they have nailed the model by going so far as to use genuine Nike soles to replicate the look perfectly. These may not be Ye or Nike approved but they sure do shine. Retail price has yet to surface, however, given the previous tag of $1300 on the last Air Yeezy 2, don’t be surprised if you need a loan to cop.
