Nike is Dropping an Outdoors-Inspired Air Max Collection

0

Nike is gearing up to release two classic lifestyle runners that fuse some of the Swoosh’s two strongest legacies: Air Max and ACG.

The first of the two, an Air Max 1, features a prominent burnt orange suede overlay and multicolor paneling throughout. A speckled midsole gives way to a minty air bubble and black mudguard all atop a colorful outsole. The entire package is tied together by trail-ready black and yellow rope laces.

The second of the duo, an Air Max 90, uses far busier and more asymmetrical design but is chock full of outdoorsy detailing. Cream yellow overlays give way to white ballistic mesh and nylon paneling, and nylon rope loops peek out from multiple points across the model. The mudguard uses criss-cross detailing reminiscent of camping gear on the lateral side and a shiny metallic silver on the inside, while the Swooshes (held down by small stitching details) come in a similarly asymmetric orange and teal. Finally, the shoe comes with lace toggles and a small black D-ring on the heel.

While no release info has popped up yet for either shoe, you can expect them to release in the coming weeks via Nike.com. Check out photos of the models down below and stay tuned for updates.
