Nike ACG Introduces the Fully Amphibious Air Zoom AO

0

Hot on the heels of their SS20 apparel drop, Nike ACG is introducing an all-new silhouette to their retro hiking lineup.

The Nike ACG Air Zoom AO is touted as a fully-amphibious hiking sneaker, a concept that ACG hasn’t taken on since before ACRONYM head honcho Errolson Hugh’s 2014-2018 high-tech tenure with the line. The Zoom AO features a massively branded, bootie-style upper that conceals the shoe’s quick-pull lacing system, allowing for fewer snags as you fly through wet, muddy trails. Additionally, the shoe features a midsole drainage system and a Sticky Rubber outsole for trusty grip in genuinely all conditions. Finally, the model sports a Nike Trailframe TPU stabilization system atop Zoom Air cushioning in the heel for reliable comfort that’s sure to perform in the most demanding of environments.

The Nike ACG Air Zoom AO will initially drop on July 9th via Nike.com. Pricing and other retailers have yet to be announced, but you can take a look at the shoe’s initial colorways below. As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
