Magic: The Gathering has launched a Street Fighter collaboration as the latest installment of its Secret Lair drop series.
Part of the trading card game’s February Superdrop, the Street Fighter Secret Lair set features eight cards, one for each of the playable characters of the original Street Fighter II video game:
- E. Honda, Sumo Champion
- Ryu, World Warrior
- Ken, Burning Brawler
- Blanka, Ferocious Friend
- Chun-Li, Countless Kicks
- Dhalsim, Pliable Pacifist
- Guile, Sonic Soldier
- Zangief, the Red Cyclone
A secret ninth card is set to be unveiled this weekend during the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final. There is also speculation that Capcom will unveil a new installment in the Street Fighter video game series this weekend. These rumors stem from a mysterious countdown timer added to the Capcom Games website and it being Street Fighter’s 35th anniversary this year.
The Magic: The Gathering x Street Fighter Secret Lair set is available for pre-order from now until March 18th on the Secret Lair webstore, with an official release date set for July 29th. The regular edition retails for $39.99 USD, while the foil edition is priced at $49.99. Check out all eight cards below.
