Original Story (10/13/20): After the duo’s initial collaboration earlier this year, it looks like New Balance and Levi’s—legends in their respective fields—are set to team up once again on a pair of shoes.
This time around, the two brands have set their sights on the New Balance 327, one of this year’s most popular lifestyle runners. Leaked pictures of the collaboration imply heavy use of grey and white Levi’s denim to make up an asymmetrical upper, a motif seen on multiple recent 327 colorways. The model’s black N logo comes equipped with a signature Levi’s red tab, and the shoe uses a black rubber outsole to match. Finally (and in line with the duo’s previous collab), the pair’s insole pay homage to Levi’s For Feet, the denim brand’s long-extinct footwear line.
We’ve got no official information on the Levi’s x New Balance 327 “Levi’s For Feet” thus far, but you can take a look at leaked photos down below. As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates as they come.
Update (10/29/20): The Levi’s x New Balance 327 collection has been announced and will be accompanied by an apparel collection comprising of reversible trucker jackets and a graphic tee that features classic Levi’s and New Balance 320 ads. The collection drops November 10th at select Levi’s locations across the US and the Levi’s app. Global release is slated for December 3rd via levis.com, newbalance.com, and select retailers.
Update (10/28/20): Product images of the Levi’s x New Balance 327 have surfaced, revealing the collaboration in three colorways. All three feature denim construction — one is dressed in indigo blue denim, another in a washed light blue denim, and the third is a women’s colorway dressed in grey denim.
