KidSuper Studios and PUMA Reunite for Second Collaboration

Brooklyn-based creative artist collective, KidSuper Studios, reunites with PUMA following the release of their first collaboration last September. The two present another football-inspired collection that infuses KidSuper’s boundless thinking into PUMA classics.

Through experimental prints and mix-and-match design elements, PUMA meets the colorful world of KidSuper, bringing the artwork of founder Colm Dillane to life. KidSuper’s painting and sketching graphics are printed onto items like the hoodie and puffer jacket, while a face-sketch camo print covers the fleece top and pants. The standout of the collection lineup has to be the bathrobe featuring a red, yellow, and white all-over print with co-branded embroidery. Details throughout the lineup give nod to the collection’s football-inspiration, such as the KidSuper football club logo that adorns the crewneck.

PUMA’s classic footwear style — the RS-2K Slip-on, Mirage Mox, Trailfox Boot, and Vesuvo — all get their own redesign by KidSuper. The RS-2K has the most dramatic transformation of the four silhouettes, featuring the same face-sketch camo print found on the fleece top and pants, and a quilted upper. The Mirage Mox and Trailbox Boot both see colorful changes and unique additions like tie-dye laces and stitched leather pieces, respectively. Finally, The Vesuvo comes in as the most subtle choice of the footwear lineup, constructed of a white leather upper and semi-translucent rubber overlay on the heel.

The second PUMA x KidSuper collection drops on March 13th via PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and select retailers. Check out the official campaign images below, featuring Dillane’s favorite team and recent Copa Libertadores champions, Brazilian club Palmeiras.
