Original Story (06/24/22): Following the release of his “Inside Voices” collab with New Balance, Joe Freshgoods is back with another sneaker project, this time in collaboration with Vans Vault.
The Chicago designer has previewed three colorways of the Style 36 LX releasing as part of a JFG x Vans “Honeymoon Stage” collection. One comes in hot pink, another in a muted dusty pink, and the third in bright red. Each feature a checkerboard pattern on the side panels with JFG branding in the squares. The overlays are done in suede, save for the leather jazz stripe, and the vulcanized rubber soles come in white. The shoes com in a pink co-branded box with “Everything Happens For A Reason” printed on the side.

Update (06/30/22): The Joe Freshgoods x Vans Vault Style 36 LX “The Honeymoon Stage” will launch on Friday, July 1st, at the grand opening of JFG’s new retail concept space Every Now & Then located at 1008 W Lake, Unit 2, Chicago, IL 60607. The collection will also be available at various pop-up locations to be announced at a later date.

Update (06/28/22): Joe Freshgoods has shared the lookbook for his “The Honeymoon Stage” collection with Vans Vault. Along with the three Style 36 colorways, there is also an in-house JFG apparel collection that includes a bowling shirt, shorts, sweatpants, and socks.
