First teased back in May, JJJJound and Vans Vault have officially announced the release of their next collaboration.

You may recall the first collaboration between Vans and the Justin Saunders-founded design studio, a trio of highly-coveted Old Skool LX colorways released in 2017. For this reunion, JJJJound reworks the Style 37 through its minimalistic lens. This model was originally released in 1978 as the brand’s first high-top skate shoe. It was only in production for a year before its design evolved into the classic Sk8-Hi. Since then it has been rediscovered and reissued as the Sk8-Mid VLT LX.

Celebrating the model’s history and timeless design, the JJJJound x Vault By Vans Sk8-Mid VLT LX is constructed in materials selected for their durability, and its subtle black, green, and brown colorways make up a sophisticated palette evoking the state of heavily-used skate shoes.

The JJJJound x Vault By Vans Sk8-Mid VLT LX will drop on the JJJJound website starting with the black colorway on August 10th, followed by the brown colorway on August 11th and the green colorway on August 12th, releasing at 9AM PT/12PM ET each day. The shoe will also be available at select Vault by Vans retail locations globally on August 14th.
