JJJJound’s sneaker collaborations for 2022 so far have included minimalist takes on the BAPE STA, New Balance 990v3, and ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14, though there is still more on the horizon from the Montreal-based design studio. Justin Saunders and company are now reuniting with Reebok on a new collaboration for Spring/Summer 2022.
Revealed by JJJJound is a clean take on the NPC II, a court shoe first released in 1985 that shares the same tooling as the Reebok Workout and other silhouettes of that era. It features a white full grain leather upper paired with a cream colored midsole. Nylon tongues come in a soft beige hue and are devoid of a tongue tag and branding. The branding that is visible is kept to a minimum and includes debossed JJJJound branding on the lateral side panel and the standard Reebok embossed branding on the lateral heel of the midsole.
Grab a first look at the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II collab below. Expect these to drop in the near future on JJJJound.com, Reebok.com, and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
