Back in 2018, Jason Dill surprised fans when it was announced that he had joined the adidas skate team. Prior to this move, the legendary skateboarder and founder of Fucking Awesome had been sponsored by Vans for over a decade. The first Jason Dill x adidas shoe to release came in 2019 in the form of a limited edition Samba. Three years later, Dill and adidas Skateboarding are now bringing that Samba back for a wider release.

“For my first signature colorway with adidas, I wanted to dig into the brand’s history and bring back something classic from when I was young, like the stuff from the eighties that I really liked,” says Jason Dill.

Dill’s modifications are subtle but distinctly effective on the archival silhouette. The Jason Dill Samba comes equipped with a white full-grain leather upper with Dill’s signature in metallic gold on the tongue. In addition, the toe box contains the iconic T-toe overlay design, while the black Three Stripes finish off the classic color blocking. A translucent icy sole unit brings a new twist to the classic.

The adidas Samba by Jason Dill is set to release on April 6th on the Fucking Awesome website, followed by a release on adidas Confirmed on April 9th. Retail price is $85 USD.
