Earlier in the year, HUMAN MADE and UNDERCOVER came together to launch a “Last Orgy 2” collection, a tribute to a collaboration between the brand’s founders NIGO and Jun Takahashi in the early ’90s. A second “Last Orgy 2” collection is now on the way, continuing in the celebration of the history between the two Japanese streetwear OGs.
Last Orgy 2 was a column written by NIGO and Jun Takahashi for Takarajima magazine which ran from 1992 to 1994. It’s name comes from an earlier column by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Kan Takagi, who named their column Last Orgy after a song by their hip-hop group Tinnie Punx. NIGO and Jun Takahashi also launched a brand called Last Orgy 2 in the early ’90s, which was available for purchase at the Nowhere store they opened together in Harajuku in 1993.
The second Last Orgy 2 collection from Human Made and Undercover includes three styles: a varsity jacket, long-sleeve photo tee, and short-sleeve photo tee. The items revive designs from the 1990s and will be available from Human Made and Undercover in different colors.
