Dr. Martens has teamed up with Japanese designer Verdy and his label Girls Don’t Cry to design a collaboration on the British footwear brand’s classic Ramsey Creeper silhouette.
With a shared connection to punk, Verdy and Dr. Martens dress the Ramsey Creeper in an all-black look. Uppers are primarily constructed from smooth leather, though the vamp has been given a statement Hair On look. Additional details include D-ring eyelets and and a wedge platform sole with cleated outsole and Dr. Martens’ signature yellow welt stitching. Verdy then applies the GDC heart motif on the gold lace charm, with additional Girls Don’t Cry branding debossed on the lateral heel and printed on the footbed.
“This is a very special project for me and especially for my wife, as she used to work at Dr. Martens,” says Verdy. “I am happy to bring this collaboration to life.”
The Girls Don’t Cry x Dr. Martens Ramsey Creeper drops February 28th on the GDC webstore (9pm CT), followed by a wider release on March 1st via the Dr. Martens website and Dover Street Market locations. Check out the product and campaign images below.
