Fat Joe licking the bottoms of his Forces on MTV Cribs is one of the most iconic moments in sneaker history. This moment led to Nike blessing the NY rapper and his Terror Squad crew with their own exclusive Air Force 1s in the early 2000s. Various colorways were made, but all were super limited, never released to the general public. That is until now.
Joey Crack has just teased an upcoming release of the Terror Squad Air Force 1. Joe took to Instagram to share some photos of himself wearing a sample of a TS Air Force 1 while sitting courtside at last night’s Hawks vs. Knicks game. The caption reads “TS/AF1 soooooon come,” indicating a release is on the way.
The pair worn by Fat Joe comes in a white and grey color scheme with pink accents and a translucent gum bottom. Special features include the TS logo embroidered on the lateral heel and “DC” on the heel panels, short for “Don Cartagena,” the name of Fat Joe’s third studio album. This is the same colorway as one of the OG Terror Squad Air Force 1s from the 2000s. However, Fat Joe also shared a look at the sample tag that indicates this sample was produced in 2022.
