Denim Tears x Sky High Farm Workwear Collection

0

Denim Tear’s founder and Supreme creative director Tremain Emory has teamed up with Sky High Farm Workwear to drop an apparel collection inspired by foods Emory grew up eating during his upbringing in Harlem, Georgia and Jamaica, Queens.

Emory celebrates the African Diaspora in his designs, this time through an assortment of what Emory dubs “Black Foods.” The garments display images of food seed packages such as okra, black-eyed peas, collard greens, and watermelon. Pieces of the collection include a dark green tailored suit, a green mohair knit sweater, a roomy dust coat, carpenter’s pants, a black hoodie, a t-shirt, and waffle knit long-sleeve. The collection is rounded out by a vintage leather jacket hand-painted by artist Fernando Ruiz.

The Denim Tears x Sky High Farm Workwear collection is available now via the Sky High Farm Workwear website, DenimTears.com, and at Dover Street Market locations. Check out the campaign imagery below, shot at the Compton Community Garden in Los Angeles.
