The partnership between Comme des Garçons PLAY and Converse has been in effect for 12 years now, bringing the iconic heart and eyes logo to silhouettes such as the Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell. Now, for the first ever, CdG PLAY puts its spin on the Converse One Star.
The CdG PLAY One Star comes in black and white colorways, each constructed from cotton canvas. The sneaker’s signature cut-out star design appears in red on each of the side panels, while the CdG PLAY heart and eyes logo appears sideways next to the star on the lateral side. The design stays otherwise true to the silhouette’s timeless look, keeping a minimalist palette and classic construction with contrast pinstripes and heel stays.
The Comme des Garçons PLAY x Converse One Star launches on July 28th on Converse.com and at select retailers such as Dover Street Market. Check out both colorways below.
