In 2020, Berlin-based skate shop Civilist and Nike SB linked up on a “Thermography” Dunk Low, which ended up being one of the standout Nike SB Dunk releases of the year. Two years later, it appears that Civilist will be bringing the design back, only this time on the Air Force 1, fitting as the silhouette celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
Like the SB Dunk Low, this Air Force 1 features a black upper that changes colors when exposed to heat, such as from the sun. Civilist’ branding appears on the lateral heel, while the shop’s smiley face logo appears on the tongue. Other design features include a white midsole with pink “AIR” branding and a gum rubber outsole.
