Original Story (08/12/23): Since 2006, Chris Paul has proudly been representing team Jumpman. The star point guard now has a dozen signature Jordan shoes under his belt, as well as various PEs and special releases, and is now gearing up to add another sneaker to the list.
A Chris Paul x Air Jordan 1 Low OG is slated to arrive later this year and we now have first looks at the shoe. The shoe features a “Give Them Flowers” theme with the message embroidered on the back of the tongues, a floral-textured upper, and floral print peeking through the translucent outsoles.
What is the meaning behind the shoe? Well, we have to wait for the official roll out to know for sure, but we do know that the shoe was gifted to athletes at the CP3 Elite Guard Camp, an invitation-only camp for the nation’s top high school and college guards. Gifting these shoes to the up-and-coming talent may be a way to give the youngins their flowers for all the work they put in to get to that level.
