Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare – Special Ops Trailer

The launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is only a couple weeks away! To hold you over till then, Activision has shared a trailer for the co-operative Special Ops mode, last seen in Modern Warfare 3.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Special Ops will include three separate experiences: Operations, Missions, and Survival.

Operations is the largest and most involved multi-stage experience of the three and are designed to let you tackle them however you want. Four players can enter Operations with their custom-selected loadouts, which includes the same gear they have unlocked and customized for multiplayer, and attempt to take down a specific objective. Players can approach these Operations stealthily, go in guns blazing, or even bring in a tank, helicopter, or ATV. Four total multi-stage Operations will , and future additions will come to all platforms simultaneously. Special Ops at launch will include four multi-stage Operations, with more scheduled to release post-launch.

Missions are experiences that can be played by anywhere from one to four players and serve as a focused complement to the more complex Operations. These will be shorter and are designed to be replayed several times. They will also be scored and timed so you can earn a star ranking at the end and compete for high scores.

The final Special Ops mode is Survival, a wave-based horde mode. This mode will be exclusive to the PS4 at launch, with other consoles receiving the mode on October 1, 2020. In this mode you and up to three of your friends are pitted against enemy forces in intense cooperative combat on one of three Multiplayer maps.

Completing Special Ops content will unlock rewards including new items and equipment that can be utilized in both Multiplayer and Special Ops Modes. Pre-order Modern Warfare now and prepare for launch on October 25th.
