It look like Brain Dead will be following up its tennis-themed collection with Sergio Tacchini with a collaboration with sportswear brand Oakley.
A first look at this upcoming collaboration comes from professional big mountain skier Sean Pettit, who was first sponsored by Oakley at age 11. Photos shared by Pettit on Instagram reveal an Oakley shoe with a grey hairy suede upper adorned with navy oval-shaped pods. This appears to be a version of the Oakley Flesh, a model originally introduced in the early ’00s. Pettit tagged Brain Dead’s Kyle Ng in the photo and accompanied it with a caption that reads “Factory team thermonuclear protection.”
Grab a first look at the Brain Dead x Oakley collab below. Expect a release in the coming weeks at Brain Dead Studios Fairfax and on the Brain Dead webstore. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
