Bodega’s collab game is on another level. Following recent team-ups with the likes of Carhartt WIP and 18 East, the LA and Boston-based retailer is now partnering with Hoka on a two-piece footwear collection.
Included in the collection is the Kaha Low GTX, a trail shoe equipped with a GORE-TEX inner lining and a rugged Vibram Megagrip traction outsole. Bodega’s collab doesn’t stray too far from HOKA’s inline offerings, dressing the shoe in earth tones typically employed by the footwear brand. The upper on this pair comes dressed in Martini Olive nubuck, paired with a rich brown suede underlay. However, Bodega does add its own twist with pops of pink on the heel pull tab and the strip down the tongue, as well as with the blue mesh tongue and four lace options. A matching Ora Recovery Slide is also included in the collection. It comes in the same Martini Olive hue and features a speckled design and pink Hoka bird logo.
“Our team appreciates the quality and performance of HOKA footwear,” says Matt Zaremba, Director of Marketing at Bodega. “Because we are a bi-coastal brand, residing in cities with incredible outdoor resources nearby right outside city limits, we stay active. Whether escaping from the hustle and bustle of city living to refocus and ground ourselves, or chasing the next adventure, we rely on quality goods that will make the journey enjoyable while retaining our individual approach to style. Hoka is a key brand in the space that aligns with our personal and collective tastes and appreciation for getting up and getting out there.”
