BAPE and mastermind JAPAN, two OG streetwear brands that originated from Japan in the ’90s, are coming together to launch a new collaboration. This latest team-up from these frequent collaborators is in celebration of BAPE’s 30th anniversary, continuing the festivities that began in 2023 into the new year.
The ensuing collection is comprised of a variety of classic apparel styles, such as varsity jackets, full-zip hoodies, graphic tees, tracksuits, and crewneck sweaters. There are also some unique items, such as the fur jacket, covered in an all-over print that combines BAPE’s star-shaped STA logo with the mastermind skull and crossbones emblem. The mohair cardigan is also a standout, adorned with the APE HEAD logo on the left sleeve and the skull and crossbones on the right. Each piece in the collection comes dressed in black, as we’ve come to expect from Masaaki Homma’s label.
