The worlds of gaming and high fashion have a new overlap thanks to a Balenciaga and Fortnite collaboration.
The collaboration include a physical and digital component, with the in-game offerings highlighted by four new skins: the haute Unchained Ramirez outfit, Shady Doggo fit, Fashion Banshee Outfit, and Game Knight outfit. Shady Doggo’s digital dressings are also seen as part of the IRL Fortnite x Balenciaga collection.
Other in-games items include four different “Back Blings,” a Speed Sneaker Pickaxe with five alt styles, and a Parasail Purse Glider. Fashion Doggo Spray and Knight Looks Spray can be unlocked by completing Shady Doggo quests between September 21st and September 28th.
Within the digital fashion community, the Strange Times Featured Hub will be the spot to find the virtual store that aligns with the real designs. Fortnite is also giving players a chance to be featured in the live lookbook campaign, through September 23rd, highlighting individuality and style.
As for the IRL collection, Balenciaga and Fortnite are including t-shirts, button downs, hoodies, hats and jackets. Adorned in co-branding, the offering comes in a red, white and black color palette.
The physical Fortnite x Balenciaga collection is available now on the Balenciaga website. The in-game offerings will be available starting today, September 20th at 8pm ET.
