Awake NY is dropping a new collaboration with Crocs and Foot Locker, a sequel to their “Home Is Where The Heart Is” collection released late last year.
The new Awake NY x Crocs Classic Clog features a paint splatter design against an off-white background. It is personalized with Jibbitz that spell out “AWAKE,” as well as bunny and flower-shaped Jibbitz inspired by graphics from Awake NY’s Spring 2022 collection.
“These Crocs are an ode to the artisans, craftspeople and makers,” says Angelo Baque, founder of Awake NY. “The design pays homage to my favorite pair of pants, which were custom-made by a very dear friend of mine. I’m in awe of those who work with their hands, especially in today’s times. That’s why I chose to highlight local artisans and spaces for the campaign.”
The campaign features NYC-based artisans who provide creative spaces and services for the community. This includes LaParis Phillips of Brooklyn Blooms Floral Boutique, Kiara Ventura and Kameron Robinson of PROCESSA art gallery, and Reuben King of Brooklyn Clay Industries.
The Awake NY x Crocs Classic Clog will be available in children’s and adult sizes retailing for $45-$70 USD. Launching Wednesday, May 25th at 11am ET via Awake NY, followed by a wider release on Friday, May 27th via Foot Locker stores and online on footlocker.com. Check out the campaign imagery below.
