The Air Jordan 8 has been celebrating its 30th anniversary all throughout 2023. After bringing back the OG “Playoffs” colorway in September, Jordan Brand now presents a new “Winterized” version optimized for cold weather conditions.
The AJ8 “Winterized” features a black water-resistant upper with Gunsmoke grey accents on the graphic print mudguard and metallic silver hits on the midsole. The inside of the shoe has also been revamped, featuring a thick fleece sockliner to insulate and keep your feet warm when it’s brick out. This shoe will be available in men’s and grade school sizing.
This is not the first time that Jordan Brand has dropped a “Winterized” retro. Previous entries in this series include the 2018 Air Jordan 12 “Winterized,” the 2019 Air Jordan 4 WNTR, the 2021 Air Jordan 14 “Winterized,” and the 2022 Air Jordan 3 Winterized “Archaeo Brown.”
