In late 2021, Virgil Abloh and Jordan Brand released the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low, kicking off a resurgence of Michael Jordan’s second signature model. We’ve seen a handful of AJ2 colorways and collabs release since then, though with little fanfare from the sneaker community. The 2 has always been an under-appreciated silhouette, but maybe it just needs a beloved colorway on it to set it off. In comes the Air Jordan 2 “Black Cement.”
Jordan Brand is giving the Air Jordan 2 a “Black Cement” makeover for Fall 2023, dressing the silhouette in the classic OG colorway first seen on the Air Jordan 3. Uppers come dressed in black leather with matching faux iguana skin overlays, while hits of Cement Grey are found on the tongues and heels. Red accents tie the Bulls-inspired colorway together.
