Original Story (05/06/22): It is widely known that one of Michael Jordan’s favorite pastimes takes place on the fairway. His love for golf has extended onto his brand as the Jumpman can be seen worn by PGA athletes such as Bubba Watson and Pat Perez. Following the launch of the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf earlier this year in fan-favorite colorways, Jordan Brand is now set to introduce another iconic colorway to the selection.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf will soon be available in a white, black, and orange color scheme, resembling the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 released in 2015. The low-top golf silhouette features orange on the toe boxes and heels, black on the Swoosh, tongue, and forefoot overlays, along with Sail quarter panels. In addition, the outsole strays away from traditional spikes and settles for teeth-style traction, providing a more comfortable and casual style of play. Jumpman and Golf branding appear on the tongue, completed with the Wings logo on the heel.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Shattered Backboard” is set to launch on Nike.com as well as at select retailers this summer for $140 USD. Grab a first look below.
