Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are back with a new collection for Winter 2023. After dropping their first Rainier collaboration in 2022, ALD and New Balance are now offering a low version of the hiking boot silhouette.
The New Balance Rainier was designed in collaboration with alpinist Lou Whittaker, who wore the Rainier as he led the first American ascent of the North Wall of Mt. Everest in 1984. Aimé Leon Dore is now offering a low version of the Rainier in three colorways, each featuring hairy suede uppers, leather collars and sockliners, and black Cordura tongues. Underfoot, each pair is equipped with a black EVA midsole and a rugged Vibram outsole. The footwear is presented alongside a matching ALD x NB apparel collection.
