After an initial release by way of a Palace collab earlier this year, adidas Skateboarding is officially releasing the mainline version of their Lucas Puig signature skating shoe.
Dubbed “Ink,” the adidas PUIG’s first in-house colorway is made of beachy blue adiTUFF suede. The colorway features a white Three Stripes logo and an icy-translucent midsole that encases a patterned adiPRENE insole. The model is rounded off by gold accents on the upper eyestay and PUIG/adidas branding, an exaggerated heel, and a “P” patterned tongue.
The model was designed in collaboration with both Puig and the founders of Palace Skateboards, Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis (as Puig is a member of both adidas and Palace’s pro skate teams). It’s set to release via adidas’ website on September 19th for $100 USD, and more colorways are expected to follow in the near future.
