adidas Originals has gone through their archives to bring updated versions of their OZWEEGO and LXCON silhouettes. The new models take elements from their 1990s counterparts to reimagine their aesthetics for the contemporary wearer.
The updated OZWEEGO silhouette is inspired by the OZWEEGO 3, a lightweight and comfortable cushion runner silhouette that debuted in 1998. The new OZWEEGO silhouette adopts a futuristic design approach with its distinctive eye stay panel, defined midsole lines, and a translucent support tube. Color options range from a bright orange and neon green to neutral black and white.
The LXCON silhouette also takes cues from the design of its OG iteration, with added modern elements that include a unique lacing system and knitted upper. Both silhouettes feature the return of the adiPRENE midsole, a signature cushioning technology innovation from the past reimagined to create maximum comfort for the present.
The OZWEEGO and LXCON “Powered by the Past” silhouettes will be available globally on August 8th. Take a look at both silhouettes below.
