After bringing back a few OG colorways earlier this year, adidas is now dropping new iterations of the Crazy 1 basketball silhouette.
Released in 2000 as “The Kobe,” the adidas Crazy 1 was originally designed as Kobe Bryant’s fourth signature shoe with adidas (a follow-up to the KB8, KB8 II, and KB8 III). These new colorways of the Crazy 1 appear to pay homage to the late NBA star. The “Snakeskin” colorway likely nods to Kobe’s “Mamba Mentality,” while the “Regal Purple” colorway nods to the Los Angeles Lakers, the team with which Kobe spent his entire 20-year NBA career.
