A-COLD-WALL* founder Samuel Ross is known for delivering industrial-inspired designs through a futuristic lens. This aesthetic is married perfectly with Converse’s new forward-thinking silhouette, the Aeon Active CX.
The Aeon Active CX has been teased by Ross for almost a year now, before being officially announced by Converse last June as part of a three-piece CX lineup. The A-C-W* version comes in silver/green and black colorways and feature model number and A-COLD-WALL* branding printed at the medial for an industrial touch.
Not only does it look cool, its promises premium comfort as well. A chunky Crater foam midsole (made from ~12% recycled scraps from the factory floor) is paired with a PU CX drop-in for cushioning. Plus its elastic stretch bootie construction and exaggerated heel kick allow for smooth ease of entry.
The A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Aeon Active CX will debut in the Micro Chip/Healing Jade/Black colorway on April 6th via A-COLD-WALL* (10am CDT), followed by a wider release on April 12th via Converse.com and SNKRS. The Black/Black/Apple Green colorway is slated for May 8th via A-COLD-WALL* and dropping May 12th on Converse.com, SNKRS, and at select retailers. Check out both below.
