Japan’s WTAPS and New Balance have announced the release of the “M992WT”, a collaborative take on the New Balance’s 992 Made in USA silhouette.
WTAPS dresses this 992 in a military-inspired olive and grey color scheme. WTAPS branding has been incorporated into the heel, tongue, and insoles. A hit of orange appears on the midsole, a stylistic choice that references the Japanese brand’s own design identity.
The WTAPS x New Balance M992WT releases at select retailers in Japan (see below for list) on May 1st, 2020 for a retail price of ¥ 39,600.
