Origjnal Story (01/04/24): Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are keeping the AJ1 Lows coming, as a “Canary Yellow” women’s colorway has been unveiled to be releasing later this year.

This iteration of the Cactus Jack AJ1 Low features a white tumbled leather base with bright yellow nubuck overlays and a matching yellow sockliner. A pop of Racer Blue is then added to the Swooshes, both on the backwards Swoosh on the lateral and the forward-facing Swoosh on the medial. The pair comes with yellow and blue lace options, as well as red to match the color accents on the tongue tag and Cactus Jack branding.

This blue/yellow color combo may be inspired by Travis Scott’s high school, Elkins High School in Missouri City, TX, whose official colors are royal blue and gold. Coincidentally, Travis Scott is seen wearing a blue and yellow Suzuki top in the new “Topia Twins” music video.

This isn’t the only Travis x Jordan collab to look forward to in 2024. La Flame is set to launch his own signature Jordan Brand line this year called Jumpman Jack, and there are also rumors of a new olive/black Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low set to release this fall. Meanwhile, Travis Scott and Nike also have a new Shark-A-Don silhouette in the works.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Canary Yellow” (aka “Elkins”) is expected to drop this summer on SNKRS, Travis Scott’s website, and at select retailers in extended women’s sizing. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
